Registration for the online conference is free of charge.
Participation in the conference includes access to all presentations and offered events from February 24 to 25, 2026.

Registration Deadlines:

  • For speakers/poster contributors: January 31, 2026

  • For all other participants: February 23, 2026

Registration as Participant or Contributor

Registration and Participation Terms
Please select in the registration form whether you wish to attend the conference as a participant or as a contributor (poster/presentation/presentation and poster). As a contributor, you have the opportunity to present your current research results.
As a participant, you will receive a confirmation and your ticket via the email address you provided. This completes your registration and ensures you receive all further information directly in your inbox.
As a contributor, please additionally indicate in the form whether you wish to present a lecture or a poster. In the confirmation email, you will be asked to submit an abstract for your presentation or poster, as well as a graphical abstract for your presentation. For your poster, please use your own institute’s or company’s template.

Guidelines for Oral and Poster Submission
Based on the submitted abstract, the suitability of your contribution for the conference will be assessed. The graphical abstract will also serve as your two-minute pitch presentation on the first day of the conference.
Would you like to present your products, developments, or research results in more detail?
We offer the opportunity to use poster presentations, accompanying video presentations, and private Zoom rooms. Presentations may cover innovative developments in synthesis, processing, applications, recycling, and degradation of bioplastics that go beyond the current state of research.

The graphical abstract will be used for your pitch presentation.
Please submit all relevant files for your contribution by the specified deadline to the email address provided in your registration confirmation.

Participation Terms and Additional Privacy Information
Participation in the conference “Bioplastics 2026 – Approaches for Sustainable Product Development” is free of charge but requires registration no later than February 23, 2026, and is subject to the following conditions:
Contributors and authors grant Hof University the right to reproduce their presentation/poster as part of the conference. Any further use requires a separate agreement.
Participants are prohibited from recording or copying presentations and posters for copyright and data protection reasons, unless explicitly permitted by the presenter/author.
Hof University reserves the right to report on the conference and may mention presenters/authors and their topics. Screenshots may be used, potentially showing participants as displayed in Zoom.
Apart from this, digital content from the conference, especially presentations and posters, will be deleted immediately after the conference, unless otherwise agreed with the affected parties.
Privacy Policy
Data collected during registration will also be deleted immediately after the conference, unless used for the reporting described above or if participants have explicitly consented to further use for specific purposes.

Scientific communication and public relations
Categories of recipients of the data:
Officials and employees of Hof University and the Free State of Bavaria, as well as IT service providers. IT service providers may be located outside the EU. Processing is based on agreements including the EU Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses.
Recipients of video, audio, and text content also include other conference participants and, for reporting purposes, users of university media. Content may be published worldwide, including freely accessible areas of the Internet.
